We follow a different theme every month. There’s a colour and a topic that’s decided for the month. The topic for the month of December is seasons and the colour is red.
To showcase the seasons we make a colourful chart of seasons showing the 3 major seasons of India and teaching the children names of each season and their gist in brief. Every friday there’s a social session where the children are taught about what importance each season holds and answer their queries. We make these sessions really fun and informative to make sure we cover the whole aspect of the topic taking up one point each friday. So that the children are clear with these concepts that are bought to them every month. We take up weekly activities to go slow and make sure that the children grasp the learning well.
The chart made by the teachers is colouful and full of pictures keeping in mind the choice of our kids and their psychological security. The kids are always absolutely amazed to see these charts and they’re painted in a way to look a little cartoon-like but yet speaks out the knowledge and the message behind each session and every theme of every month that we try to send across.
And with great collective hard work and co-orperative team work by our teachers that makes it possible for the children to learn and take back home something new every month at this early learning stage of their childhood
