Every year we celebrate Children’s day. The 14th of november is marked as Children’s day on the birth anniversary of Dr Jawaharlal Nehru. We could tell the immense fondness we had towards him as he was lovingly called ‘chacha Nehru’
It sure is celebrated across all educational centres in India in different ways but we try something unique every single year that keeps our kids fascinated and gets them to know the significance of this day and spreads awareness of rights, care and education of children.
So what’s new in store this year? This year we’re keen on promoting a sense of nationalism along with arts. To create a feeling of love and togetherness in children. We’re bringing in cultural day along with children’s day to highlight all the religions that makes India so rich in its cultures. The children are going to showcase different religions/states and potray their significance and whereabouts. We have extremely co-orperative parents who agreed to dress their child in a regional costume of their choice and display their culture, folklore, festivals, staple food, rituals they perform and celebrate. Its going to be a colourful day with such beautiful depiction of religions and states with our lovely tiny tots narrating to us how they feel about it.
We’re eagerly awaiting to see how cutely our kids are dressed and offcourse the best dressed gets chosen for a surprise (all our kids I’m sure are going to be the best) Its not a competitive but a fun event. Looking forward to see the loveliness.
